Harry Fletcher of Napo (formerly the National Association of Probation Officers) has said. “There is no evidence that previous mergers ……,in the justice system resulted in any cost savings. Indeed in the medium and long-term, in all probability, they were more expensive.”

And yet few listen to this man. He is only saying what we all know to be true. Justice is not safe in the hands of the Civil Servants who dominate Government

Look at the example of magistrates courts. Magistrates sit for free and yet the Justice department has appointed judges to replace them at a cost is hundreds of thousands of pounds!
