A new Acas code of practice click here to read it impacts follows key changes in the law on what used to be called compromise agreements and are now called settlement agreements (e.g. extending an independent adviser from a qualifieded lawyer to a certified and authorised official, employee or member of an independent trade union; or a certified and authorised advice centre worker.

There will also be new ACAS guidance incorporating a model settlement agreement.
