Does sexual orientation affect leadership style? (Help needed with research)
Does sexual orientation affect leadership style?
A lot of research has been done on the difference in leadership styles between men and women. Research on sexual orientation and leadership, however, is limited. As part of here Master’s thesis, Maxim Mukhin aims to explore the link between sexual orientation and leadership style. Does the experience of being an “outsider” make gay managers, for example, more flexible and sensitive towards their subordinates or does it have no effect at all?
You can support her research by completing one of the questionnaires below.
If you are a manager, please complete the following online questionnaire, assessing your leadership style:
If you are an employee reporting on your manager’s leadership style please refer to the following link:
The questionnaires should not take longer than 5 minutes and are targeted at anyone regardless of their gender or sexual orientation.
Your participation will greatly contribute to research in diversity and leadership.
If you have any questions or would like to get involved please contact Maxim via firstname.lastname@example.org.
